This picture of one my Ludwig studio sets was taken at a QUIET RIOT rehearsal on February 2, 2006. This setup is a 14 X 26 bass drum which is a 1946 Ludwig WFL, the 6 1/2 X 14 snare is a 1947 Ludwig WFL wood shell. The 9 X 13 rack tom, 14 X 14 floor tom and 16 X 16 floor tom were all made in 1967 and all are Ludwig Super Classics. Although most of the drums are different vintages, I chose them for their particular tonal qualities and their balance to each other. I had the entire kit refinished in White Marine Pearl. I also have a 1967 8 X 12 and a additional 1969 16 X 16 in case I require those sizes for sessions.
