Hey Frankie,
Best of luck in 2008!
(How's that for short and sweet?)
Seriously, you are one of my favorite drummers and I wish you continued success and happiness.
Hope to see you on the road soon!
Sincerely,
Scott R.
Scott,
Thank you for the support and kind wishes. Time will tell what will be or not be for me in the future.
With every good wish to you and yours,
Frankie
Frankie,
Thank You for the memories... You’ve always been a gentleman from the first time I was introduce to you by Rudy at the Whiskey A-Go-Go, remember when it was the Whiskey A-Go-Go, back in 78 I think it was his first gigs with Quiet Riot and I must add a great cut-up as well. I’m the guy who brings up that I remember Private Army. You are one of the finest drummers I’ve seen in my life, right up there with your idols. It was a kick for a seventeen year old kid to listen to and watch Rudy’s face when he talked about play with a great drummer and how much he enjoyed playing with you the best he knew. I was not sure way he would tell me this when I was taking lessons from him back then I had played in bands before, then I saw you with Monarch, I’ve got a old tape of you with them that I put on CD and once with Dokken then I knew, all I a bass payer has to do is fallow you and play in the groove because listening to you play a bass player would know right where the notes go. I believe like all great musicians that you bring out the best in everyone you have played with, Glenn Hughes and Pat Thrall never sounded better than on the album you played on with then, keep that CD in car at all times, the work you have done with Tony Franklin is just amazing, all the guitarist you played with sound their best playing with you. I’m partial to the work you’ve done with Rudy because you two form my favorite bass and drum team ever, ok Bonham/Jones, Appice/Bogart are very close seconds, for selfish reasons I’d love to see you two play together again at some point. I hope to hear more from you in the future but more importantly to see you play in L.A. again.
Wishing you and your family all the best the God and this life has for you.
P.S. I hope the Thanks for the Memories on you website doesn’t mean it’s going away.
P.S.S. Sorry for the long and rambling message going to end it know before it goes on for two or three pages.
Donny
Donny,
WOW, I am blown away by your very kind letter! You have really brought up some old memories and I so very much appreciate all the wonderful compliments. I am hard pressed for words other than to say that your letter has reminded me why I am one of the luckiest drummers in the world. Not because of who I've been so fortunate to have played with, but because of people like you have taken notice and appreciated what I've tried to do with my life in music. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Sincerely,
Frankie Banali
FRANKIE:
HOPE THIS EMAIL FINDS YOU WELL. I MUST SAY I WAS LEFT SPEECHLESS FOR A LONG TIME AFTER HEARING OF KEVIN’S DEATH. METAL HEALTH WAS THE FIRST ROCK ALBUM I’VE EVER OWNED, AND REMAINS ONE OF MY FAVORITE ALBUMS OF ALL TIMES. PLEASE ACCEPT MY DEEPEST CONDOLENCES FOR THE PASSING OF ONE OF ROCK’S MOST PROLIFIC AND VOCAL SINGERS OF ALL TIME.
I WAS REALLY BLOWN AWAY TO READ ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT YOU’VE BEEN APPROACHED TO REFORM QUIET RIOT IN ANY LINE-UP YOU WROTE ON YOUR WEBSITE. I WAS VERY INTRIGUED BY THE POSSIBILITY OF HAVING PAUL SHORTINO BACK AGAIN AS THE SINGER, AS I LOVE THE ALBUM HE WAS THE SINGER ON, HOWEVER, AFTER I READ WHY YOUR AGAINST EVER DOING ANY LINE-UP OF QR, I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND YOUR POSITION FOR NOT DOING IT TODAY OR EVER. I COMMEND YOU FOR NOT WANTING TO TAINT THE LEGACY OF THE BAND OR THE MEMORIES OF THE FANS OF QUIET RIOT.
I HAVE MOST OF THE QUIET RIOT ALBUMS, AND KEVIN DUBROW WILL ALWAYS LIVE THROUGH ALL THE ALBUMS I LISTEN TO. FRANKIE, KEEP ON ROCKIN AND ROLLIN, YOU’RE A GREAT DRUMMER, AND A HELLUVA OF A MAN FOR STICKING TO YOUR BELIEFS OF NOT REFORMING THE BAND IN ANY CAPACITY. GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE, AND GOD BLESS YOU, YOUR FAMILY AND KEVIN’S FAMILY. LONG LIVE THE MOUTH OF QUIET RIOT --- MR. KEVIN DUBROW.
Sincerely,
Kevin M. Jacobson
Hey Kevin,
Thank you for taking the time to write, for your kind words and for understanding my position on the future of QUIET RIOT with regards to continuing as a touring group. Thank you for your continued support.
With appreciation,
Frankie B.
Frankie, I enjoyed watching the “Don’t forget the Lyrics” episode last night. I don’t know if you ever watch, but Brett Michaels was the guest star last night and was playing for charity. Last song he selected was “Cum on Feel the Noise.” Brett and Wayne Brady (and the crowd) erupted into the song, but ultimately Brett couldn’t remember the words when it came to it (although he said he knew them all in his car), which was funny, but after he gave up and received his 200,000 for charity, he pointed up to the sky and said “this one’s for you Kevin.” I thought that was nice.
I hope all is well.
TAK
Tak,
Yes, I was able to see this and that was very cool of Brett to do, Brett is one of the good guys as are all the members of Poison whom I wish continued success.
Best,
Frankie
Hello there Frankie,
I just was sittin here and thinking back to when I had XM Radio, and you called into Eddie Trunk's show, and I was on hold and just told the girl on the phone,to let you know that The St. Lucie County Civic Center was demolished,it was were I saw my first concert and that was W.A.S.P. and Quiet Riot,in December of 1984...It was an awesome show!!!! Also Randy Rhoads had played there with Ozzy!! I can't believe that place is gone, that now Kevin is gone. I travelled all over Florida to see you guys, when you toured, and when there was a new cd,I went out and bought it....And now I have a page on myspace that is a tribute to Kevin and Randy, and recently I came up with an idea for Quiet Riot Fest. I wasn't gonna contact you just yet,but I saw a pix on my friend Heather's page of her with you...And that Inspired me to contact you,to let you know my idea, and if its something you want to act on,I would love to share my ideas and hear yours...You are one of my favorite musicians out there, and I would never do anything without your blessing and your ideas/inputs...I just want to celebrate their lives with this festival type show...
THE WILD AND THE YOUNG..THEY ALL HAVE THEIR DREAMS...
God Bless You...
and may you Rock and Roll forever!!
DJKRIS2FUR
Hi and thank you for your kind letter and sharing your QUIET RIOT memories with me. I am not able to comment further on your idea, but please accept my gratitude for your support and especially for remembering Kevin, may he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Frankie
Frankie,
It's Aaron, again. I'm liking the pictures you got on MySpace. The one of you in the sun glasses on the front page is too funny! I wanted to tell you I have sent in my article for the school paper on the 25th anniversery of Metal Health. The issue isn't out yet because the instructor's been busy so it'll be more 25 years and 2 months. I used the comment you gave me. Thanks again. I don't know if I told you this but I spoke with Rudy on the phone for an interview and I spoke with Rudy for a good 45 minutes! I transcribed the interview to text and that'll be another article for the issue except that it had to be cut down. I'm thinking about researching for a QR project for my fun and maybe it might get published. I don't know. Are you accepting interviews now? It would be nice to have new interviews from all the members but I think I'm dreaming! Talk to you later.
Aaron
Dear Aaron,
I'm happy that you were able to do the story on Metal Health and that you were also able to speak with Rudy. I have not done any interviews since before Kevin passed away and I am still not accepting interviews.
With apologies,
Frankie
Frankie,
We knew each other in the eighties.
I took great pride in the fact that you and Kevin were clients at my salon on Sunset Blvd. next to The Whiskey.
The very first time I got to know you was at Kevin's Hancock Park house.
My instant impression of you was how very protective and caring you were toward Kevin, the way a big brother would look out for his little brother. I had other famous clients at my salon but none who ever overtly demonstrated kindness toward their band mates the way you did toward Kevin. You've always stood out in my mind because of what I observed in you that day at Kevin's house - and then every other time at my salon.
Although I started out with the intention of emailing you a few of my personal thoughts and memories about Kevin, I decided to make this about you. My reason for doing so is because, although Kevin was and is very dear to you, I actually had many opportunities to witness that first-hand. And that's a beautiful way for me to think of Kevin - and you.
Nothing but love,
Vicki
Dear Vicki,
I can't even begin to tell you how much your letter has touched me and even now it is difficult for me to say anything more than to thank you for your kindness in writing such a wonderful memory as a tribute to the deep friendship that Kevin and I had and always will. May God rest Kevin and may God bless you and yours.
Sending you much love,
Frankie
I listen to Quiet Riot all the time. I love the new CD and was crushed when Kevin died. I hope you rock on and maybe play on more WASP Cd's would be cool to. God bless you and yours and may Kevin RIP. Cheers, Bill Genco
Bill,
Thank you so much for writing, and RIP Kevin indeed, he is missed. I'm sorry to say that another contribution by me to a future WASP album is not realistic. Thank you for your kind words of support which I always appreciate.
Sincerely,
Frankie

Hello once again, Frankie-
I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you know that you have my condolences on the loss of your good friend. It was such a shock to hear the news. He will certainly be missed by many, myself included.
I never got to see Quiet Riot live, but I am a fan for life. Whatever you decide to do musically, I'm behind you 100%. You are one classy guy.
Thanks for the memories.

Mike,
So very nice to hear from you and I appreciate your kind words on Kevin's passing, may he rest in peace.
Thank you also for your personal support which means a lot to me. We shall see where life takes me from here.
Wishing you all good things in life and God bless you and keep you and yours safe.
Sincerely and God Bless America.
Frankie
Hey brother, I grew up to your music. You guys rocked South Korea when you
went to Camp Kasey, 2nd Infantry Division. I was there on my 1 year tour. I
forgot how it was to bang my head.......well needless to say the next
morning my voice was gone, my head was pounding and my neck felt like it was
run over by one of our tanks. I didn't care though. I stayed for stxx for
about 10 seconds and then left. I even bought a mental health cd even though
I already owned one. You guys sounded just like you did in the 80's, no
synthasize machines like these fake bands who have the guts to say they are
rock bands. You guys are the fathers of rock. Last but definitely not least,
I offer my condolences to Kevins' family as well as the band. Your rock
lives on brother.
Sincerely

Dear SSG Frederick C. Sadosky,
Thank you for so many kind words and for the support which is truly appreciated. It is people like you that gave QUIET RIOT our careers! May God bless you and yours and may he rest Kevin in peace.
Be well,
Frankie Banali
Mr. Banali:
My name is Fernando Aguilar, I´m from Honduras in Central America, you might not remember me, but on May 6, 2006 you played here in Honduras. I had the pleasure to meet you guys and go to the show. Believe me, it was something I will always remember until the day I die. I have some autographs and some pictures, those are priceless, Quiet Riot changed my life that day.
I wanted to let you know how much I admire you and Quiet Riot, I am deeply sorry for what happened to Kevin, someday we shall all join him in Heaven. I can´t believe I actually met you guys, Kevin and you are rock and roll legends, it was amazing, and I just wanted you to let you know how much your music means to me, so, thank you Frankie, keep on rocking!!!
Muchas gracias por todo Frankie!!!

HI FRANKIE, I WAS GOING THOUGH MY SAVED PHOTOS FILE ON MY COMPUTER AND FOUND A PRETTY GOOD PIC I TOOK AT THAT SHOW THAT I'LL SEND YOU OF KEVIN THAT I THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE.I STILL APPRECIATE THE FACT THAT YOU WERE GRACIOUS ENOUGH TO TELL ME TO GO LAY DOWN SOMEWHERE AFTER I HAD DRIVEN ALL NIGHT TO GET THERE AND WAS FRIED.I WAS ON YOUR SITE AFTER KEVIN PASSED AND SOMEHOW CAME ACROSS YOUR STORY ABOUT THE ALMOST OZZY SITUATION.I MET RANDY AND RUDY WHILE WAS A LIFEGAURD HERE IN CLEVELAND AND WAS REMINDING RUDY OF THAT DAY WHEN I DID THE BACKLINE FOR QR IN CANTON AND DIDN'T KNOW YOUR QR HISTORY WENT THAT FAR BACK.I'VE LOST TWO WOMEN TO FATE FAIRLY RECENTLY AND SCORES OF FRIENDS SO I CAN ALMOST UNDRSTAND WHAT MUST BE GOING ON IN YOUR MIND[ MY FIANCE DRANK HERSELF TO DEATH AT 31].WHEN I SAW THAT PIC I GOT CHILLS AND COULD ALMOST HEAR US JOKING ABOUT CHRIS BOURNE AS IF WE WERE IN THAT MINUTE AGAIN..GOT A FEW PICS THAT CAME OUT WELL THAT I'LL SEND YA AFTER I GET A FEW MINS TO FIX THAT PARTICULAR COMPUTER. PEACE TO YOU MY BROTHER, TERRY HATCHER
Hey Terry,
Nice to hear from you and thank you for sharing your memories. I am so sorry to hear about your fiance and may she rest in peace. I appreciate you taking the time to write and I look forward to seeing the pictures when you have the time to send them.
Sincerely,
Frankie
Hey Frankie,
It's Steve Vollmer, from Northern Virginia (I'm in the band Vollmer that
played with you at Jaxx - you posted one of my emails a while back).
Anyway, I thought you might get a kick out of seeing my new babies that are
replacing the black Slingerlands. I ordered this set two months ago from
Chuck Levin's in MD and it just arrived yesterday. The sizes are 11x13 tom,
16x16 floor tom, 16x18 floor tom, 16x26 bass drum, and 6.5x14 snare. The
color is Ruby Red Glitter. I don't know if Ludwig has shown the finish to
you, but it's not a plastic sparkle wrap; it's a laquer finish and it's
gorgeous! As for the sound - killer!! Now if I can just learn to play like
you...
Hope all is well and thanks again for being an inspiration to heavy hitters
everywhere.
Steve Vollmer
Hey Steve,
WOW! Beautiful Ludwig set! CONGRATULATIONS! Enjoy them, I know you will, and thanks for the kind comment which I so very much appreciate!
Good luck in drumming and life!
Frankie B.
Hey Frankie
First I wish to give my condolences on the passing of Kevin. I have seen QR many times and all of you guys have been great at taking the time to chat with us after the show. I don’t know if you really understand what that means, but it’s truly appreciated!
Next I have a request of sorts I guess lol. Im not sure where you go from here, but being in my 30’s now im not ready to not see you drum anymore lol. I was wondering if there is any interest in doing another heavy bones session? The first album was awesome, just put out a little to late. I actually mentioned this to Mr Hoey one night after a show and he didn’t say yeah or no, just that he hadn’t talk to you folks in a while. I dunno food for thought Frankie, I know us fans would love it. I think you have made the right decision with QR, not to carry on.
Side note, I have been hard at work to get folks to request QR and Heavy Bones to be put in rockband. I would love to play these tunes, even if its just a game. My wife is the drummer of our family band and I play guitar lol. So yeah a bunch of us put in requests to harmonix to get the stuff in there!
Anyways best of luck to you Frankie and I hope you will give heavy bones a thought or two or maybe even a phone call or two. Most of all thanks for being who you are, like I said you have chatted with me quite a bit after the shows, you are a great human
Cheers
Mike
Hi Mike,
Thank you for the kind words for Kevin, may he rest in peace, and yes, I do realize how important it was to do the meet and greets because as a fan I wish the bands I grew up with had done it as well.
As to Heavy Bones, the odds are against it on several levels. I also have not spoken with any of the guys in a decade or so, Gary continues to work on his solo career as he should, I have no idea what Joel is doing and I've been told that Rex has not been involved in music for a number of years. As for me, I'm not inclined to revisit that past. The band had great potential, we did what I think for the most part was a great record, but it was a very dysfunctional unit and there was a great deal of the "Have's" and the "Have Not's" so there is nothing there for me other than partially fond memories. I did enjoy working with producer Mr. Zito, another nice Italian boy, LOL!
Wishing you and the drummer in the family (wink-wink) all the best!
Frankie
Hi there. First let me start by saying I am truly sorry for your loss! I can only imagine how difficult that is for you, as I lost my sister-in-law 6 yrs ago and she was like my sister!
Secondly, I just wanted to say, I am 30 yrs old, and as a lover of ALL music, my current favorite is CUM ON FEEL THE NOIZE! I grew up listening to ya'll and other metal bands, and listening to it now, takes me back to when I was young and dumb and HAD FUN! Which having 3 kids it is hard to do sometimes. So, thank you for this song!
Rock on!
Lenora from TX
Hi Lenora from Texas!
Thank you for your kind words and my sympathy goes out to you for the loss of a loved one too.
Thank you for keeping the music of QUIET RIOT alive and for keeping Kevin in your thoughts.
Sincerely,
Frankie
What up Frankie?
Mike Semerau here just stopping by to let you know I have been thinking of you and QR today on the 25th Anniversary of Metal Health. I must go know and " Bang my Head, "
R.I.P. Kevin
Mike
Hey Mike,
Thanks for the kind note and yes, RIP Kevin. I hope all is well with you and drumming in Chicago.
Take care,
Frankie
Frankie,
Boy, I feel like a turd for not writing sooner to extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to you for the loss of your dear friend Kevin. I can fully understand your position on not continuing QR. The band was the sum of it's parts, especially Kevin and yourself. "The signature sound", as it were. I kept checking your old site for it to come back up, not thinking to check elsewhere to see if you had a new site. Please forgive me. I'm very glad you are into many new projects. They all look and sound exciting. Someday I hope to meet you at a gig or something to extend a big handshake to you. You are an inspiration and a true gentleman! I always find a bit of comfort when I remember these words-and I think they could be fitting for Kevin-"Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there, I did not die!"
Peace always-
Rob "Champagne" McFarland
Rob,
Thank you for your kind e-mail and for your thoughts on Kevin and QUIET RIOT which I appreciate. I hope that we do have the opportunity to meet somewhere down the road. RIP Kevin.
Best,
Frankie B.
Hi Frankie!
I know some time has passed since the passing of Kevin, but he will not be forgotten. I had the honor and true pleasure to be an opening act for QR
a few years back. I played in a Michigan band called BackTalk. I know that once I mention the place you will remember. VH-1 was there filming for a
show called Rock Candy that aired about 8 months after the show took place. I have all the original footage that was shot for the show from VH-1 too.
There is some pretty funny stuff in it too, including footage from interviews that were done (before they were edited). I am in the process of having all
that footage transfered over to DVD's (from the original VHS video tapes). After we did that show in Michigan where many people in the crowd bared
it all (ya know where I am talking about yet?).
A few weeks later you played a show in Ionia, Michigan with Warrent, Firehouse, and Slaughter. Your road manager at the time, arranged for my wife
and I to come out and hang back stage with ya'all. It was a special treat because it was my wifes birthday and she had no idea we were going to be
there until we arrived. We had a great time Frankie. We loved your shows, your music, and all that QR stood for. Just flat out, in your face, kick ass
rock and roll! We will certainly miss that Frankie.
I have read what your position is about letting QR rest in peace along with Kevin. I must say, I truely believe I too would do the same thing. It would
just never be the same again. I do wish you all the very best. I have found from past experiences similar in nature, that the best medicine for you to
heal from this is to "Keep On Rockin'". It will not help to fully recover, but it will certainly help. I followed that advice that was given to me by
Mr. Edgar Winter himself, bless his heart. He was 100% right. So hang in there brother, keep your chin up, and Keep On Rockin'! Feel free to e-mail
me back your info and I would be more then happy to send you copies of those DVD's once I get them transfered over. May Kevin rest in peace.
Peace be with you brother....
Craig Roberts
Hi Craig,
Thank you for sharing some QR memories and for keeping Kevin's memory alive now that he is no longer with us. May he rest in peace. Thank you for your kindness!
Best,
Frankie
Frankie
Thank you for all of the great music over the years and most of all thank you for being you Frankie you are for real
Thank you...Erie.
Hi,
That is a wonderfully kind comment and I thank you for it.
Sincerely,
Frankie
Frankie.
First I'd like to say that I am still taking it hard on the lose of Kevin. It just doesn't seem possible. I and many others are still Rocking hard to Quiet Riot. We never will forget Kevin. I put on the subject line 'Led Zepplin' because I'm wondering how I can get a copy of the Tribute CD.
Is it available in stores'? Thank You for your time.
God Bless Ron cambridge,mn
Hi Ron,
Thank you for the kind words and for remembering Kevin, may he rest in peace. I appreciate it.
As to my Led Zeppelin Tribute CD, I've not seen it in stores but it's available and in stock through Amazon.Com in the US and through Evangeline UK Records in Europe.
Take care,
Frankie
You can post this or not... Just wanted to let you know that if you
start up a band I would like the chance to play guitar and sing for
you... I am 38 years old and have played guitar since I was seven years
old... You can hear some of my original music on MySpace... I am playing
all the instruments on the recordings... Hope to hear from you...
Shawn T
Shawn,
Thank you for the kind offer but at this point in my life I'm really not trying to start a new band from scratch. Thank you for your kind offer which is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Frankie Banali
Hi my name is Laurel ive been trying to reach Quiot riot 1st Sorry that kevin passed But I saw a dude rip off come on feel the noise That would make kevin smile looking down from the big gig in the sky. Please contact me if the guys would like to meet him! Laurel
Laurel,
I very much appreciate you thinking of Kevin, may he rest in peace, and of QUIET RIOT.
Please understand that QUIET RIOT will not continue as a live performing entity. I appreciate you wanting to help, but I performed with Kevin, the real deal for nearly three decades, and I have no desire to explore other possibilities for a replacement.
Best regards,
Frankie Banali
Frankie,
First I want to go my condolences for Kevin! I am 39 years old and a huge Quiet Riot fan. I can only imagine the loss you have felt as I lost one of my best friends two years ago in an auto accident. I was fortuante to see you and Quiet Riot this past September at the Hard Rock in Biloxi. It was a great show and I got to meet you and Kevin and had some things autographed.
I am not the type to type letters or emails but felt like I had to to you, I make a good living but music is still my passion and always will be! I understand the future of Quiet Riot may be very uncertain at this time but I hope you will still keep the band and legacy together. It will never be the same without Kevin but "YOU" are still Quiet Riot. I am sure many others feel the same. From when I was in high school till now your music has made such a important emphasis in my life, when I was down or up, I would always turn to it. I can always listen to it. I proudly have the picture and ticket stub from your last show with Kevin and you framed in my house.
Even before Kevin's untimely death you were sort of a role model of mine. Your VH1 Behind The Music was very inspirational with you and your mother and how you treated her. I have had a good relationship with my parents but was not that close really and that made me take a bigger look and made me think, and I have become alot closer with my parents as they are both in their late 70's since then. So I have you to thank and I enjoy every minute with my parents when I am with them. We have become alot closer.
I hope in time Quiet Riot will return! I know it won't be the same without Kevin and am sure very hard for you as know what its like losing such a great friend. I know you can't replace him but for the true fans like me it won't matter because you will be still be back there banging those drums and you are Quiet Riot!!!! Life is too short, I can't wait to see you again on that stage!! I am sure Kevin would want it that way too!! Even though we met for a short time in Biloxi and you don't remember me, I thank you for all you have done for me in my life with your music and alot more!!! Your good friend, Scott!!
Hi Scott,
Thank you for Kevin Kevin's memory in your thoughts, I appreciate it. I am also so sorry to hear of the loss of your own friend and I extend to you my condolences. I am glad that we were able to meet in Biloxi and that were also able to meet Kevin and see QUIET RIOT which was such a short time before Kevin's passing. We really enjoyed that show and Kevin was wonderful that night.
There will always be a QUIET RIOT presence through the recorded media of our history, however, there will be no live QUIET RIOT now that Kevin is gone. I truly appreciate your support of QUIET RIOT for so many years as well as for me personally.
I want to also thank you so very much for your kind words to me and know that this I truly appreciate. If my participation in the QR Behind The Music made it possible in some small way for you to become closer to your parents as a family, then my part in the show achieved far greater expectations that I could ever have imagined and for this I thank YOU!
With every good wish,
Frankie
Hello Frankie
Shows how behind I am! I just read of Kevins passing a few months back. Man I'm so sorry for that. I know how close you guys were, god bless you. As well as Kevin and his family. You know, I had the opportunity to see QR 2 yrs ago I orlando at the house of blues, what a show. I was directly in front. Nothing like being punched in the face by your bass drum for an hour or so!!! lol
As a drummer myself, I grow up listening to your work. I would listen and play along with your, at the time, album on cassette. I also believe somewhere I still have mental health on vinyl. Those were the days. Hows Carlos and Rudy these days? Are they doing anything? How about you? I know you said only QR business right now, but been doin any jammin lately? Well my friend better go, I just wanted to offer you my condolences, even thought it's late..........................best wishes to you...................
A fan for life
Richard B Cook
Hi Richard,
Yes, the loss of Kevin has been a difficult reality to accept. May he rest in peace. I remember the 2005 House of Blues show in Orlando on the RNS tour. I forgot to change my watch from the previous time zone and had to change into my stage clothes as I ran from the tour bus to the stage where the rest of the band were waiting, made it with 15 seconds to spare on the intro CD! What a dummy!
Thank you for all your years of support which is what makes doing music still worth doing. I saw Carlos a few months ago and I speak with Rudy from time to time. They are both doing well and following their own separate musical paths. I do the occasional jams with friends here and there to keep the chops up as I wait to decide what I will do next.
Thanks for writing!
Frankie
Hello Frankie!
It´s nice to know that you have a channel to talk with fans of your music. Now I have the chance to ask you things I always wanted to know! heheheh
Why Quiet Riot didn´t played any songs from the 90´s era albums on the last tour? We all know that they didn´t had too much success, but they are great albums with great songs such as Terrified, Wings Of A Cloud, The Ritual, Slam Dunk!(Way To Go), Don´t Know What I Want, The Ritual, Vicious Circle. Those songs could easy became classics!!!
What do you think about the QR album line-up? I think it´s a great line-up and a great album!
Don´t you think is strange all the attention the media is throwing on Kevin? Before his death he was always despised and now he is one of the greatest Rock´N´Roll singers of all times? We always knew that but the media never gave Kevin the treatment hes always deserved.
Cheers from Brazil!
Hello Brazil!,
In answer to your questions, all through the 1990's and early 2000 we played a lot of the songs from those era records live. The reason that we stopped playing them was only because we got tired of playing them so often. Even though we loved some of those songs, when we played them live no one seemed to care about hearing them.
I thought the QR record and lineup was great even though it was not considered a traditional lineup or record. I just did a jam in Las Vegas a few days ago and Paul Shortino came up and sang a few songs including "Stay With Me Tonight" which he and I had not played together since the last show by that version of the band in Tokyo in 1989. And no, this does not signal any sort of reunion, LOL! Not going to happen!
I agree with you on your last statement/question. It is really such a shame that when Kevin was alive he never had the opportunity to see all the kind words that have been said about him. May God rest Kevin in peace.
Best,
Frankie
Hey Frankie!
Thomas here-we've run into each other occasionally at
Ralph's here in town.
First off, my deepest sympathy on Kevin's passing.
What's the old saying-after they made him, they broke
the mold? Think that about sums it up.
Just heard a few clips from the Zep/Bonham
tribute-great stuff! I too am a huge Zep fan; the
first few times I saw 'em, WAY back when, nobody even
knew. I'm talking early '69 (I was still in HIGH
school), and that was all I could talk about
afterward. Think my pals got tired of hearing about
it, but they indulged me anyway! Man, those were the
days to hear bands-everyone you could think of, mostly
for $5-yep, you heard right. Zep headlined a show with
Savoy Brown, Jethro Tull and The Litter underneath-$5.
Kim Simmonds and Robert Plant got into a little
fisticuffs backstage (at least Kim says so). When you
were talking about Glenn Hughes and hearing him sing
on the Trapeze album, "You Are The Music", did you
ever hear the 1st Trapeze LP, called "Medusa"? That is
a keeper!
I'll see you at the market soon, I'm sure. Take good
care, mi amigo.
Thomas aka T-Bone Filip
Hey Thomas,
Nice to hear from you and thank you for remembering Kevin, may he rest in peace. Love the fact that you too love the music of Led Zeppelin and it was great to have Trapeze's Glenn Hughes on a track for my LZ tribute CD. I like their Medusa record, but by far prefer the "You Are The Music....." for the songwriting and Glenn's performances. See you at Ralph's, LOL!
Best,
Frankie
Frankie,
I was upset to hear about Kevin. He was to heavy metal what James Brown was to soul. I met up with you and Kevin again back in 2005 in Ellsworth,Maine and was so glad to see you guys rockin the night away. It had been years. I first met you guys in Portland,Maine on the Metal Health tour in McDonalds of all places when QR opened for Loverboy. I have beeen a huge fan for a long time. Just before we lost Kevin I was in the process of forming a QR tribute band, then out of respect I put it on the shelf. I am now thinking of reviving the project but wanted to get your opinion. Knowing Kevin more as a person, instead of the singer of Quiet Riot,as I did. Do think he would find it an honor for us to play the QR music and keep it alive and well? Hope to hear from you. R.I.P. Kev,I Miss You!!
True QR Fan Always,
Ed Michaels
Ed,
Thanks for writing and for sharing this QUIET RIOT memory. That encounter was during the QUIET RIOT "Big Mac" period, LOL! Keep Kevin in your thoughts and may he rest in peace. Playing the music of QUIET RIOT is a fitting tribute to Kevin and the band.
Best,
Frankie
Frankie,
I have always been a fan of Quiet Riot. In fact, even to this day,
fraternity brothers of mine remind me of my vinyl-toting days and how out of
our house, they were 3 of us considered to be "hard-rockers."
I am very saddened by Kevin's death, and I have a great deal of respect for
how you have chosen to deal with it.
Though I have Quiet Riot on all available media (yes, I still have my vinyl,
I still even have my cassettes, CDs, and now DVD) I never met anyone until
"The Rock Never Stops Tour." I proudly carried my vinyl with me to meet a
majority of the original band. Actually, I had a second copy of Metal
Health with me and had it signed to one of the other "hard-rockers" from my
fraternity. Kevin and you were super to my wife and me. Thank you!
Procrastination got the best of me, and I never sent the duplicate album to
Richard, but instead tried to gather more of our favorites to send him a
care package.
With Rocklahoma, I got a lot of items to give to my friend. I decided that
I would hold off until Christmas. As you know Kevin passed before then, but
I wasted no time sending the package to Richard. He called me crying (yes,
we're tough guys, rockers, married with kids) because I had been "so
unselfish" and sent him a signed Quiet Riot album, and that now Kevin had
passed and Quiet Riot would be no more.
Frankie, that's what friends do. I knew there was another person who would
enjoy and be proud to have something like that as much as me, and I was
right. In as much as you have lost a friend, Richard and I lost friends in
music. We grew up listening to Quiet Riot.
My next hope is to find a reproduction of a Metal Health t-shirt in a 2x
size.
I will always love your music, I always have the best memories of it and of
meeting you guys, and I will pray for Kevin, you, and Kevin's family!!!
Your friend,
Mark Lowery
Hey Mark,
Thank you so much for writing and for all the years of genuine support. It's through people like you that I count on to keep Kevin's memory alive along with the legacy of what QUIET RIOT was.
Sincerely,
Frankie B.
Hi Frankie. I never had the privilage to see QR. And
now I totally regret to not go out of my way to see
you guys.
In Rudy Sarzo's book,"Off the Rails" he gives you
credit for the opening drum line on Ozzy's "Over the
Mountain" song. Randy Rhoads said that you have that
big drum sound and he really liked the way you played.
Looking back at all the people that you played with
what would be your dream band (multiple players are
accepted)? 5 guitar players, 5 lead singers and so and
so on background vocals, 3 bass players etc...
Rick
Hi Rick,
Thank you for writing and I too am sorry that you didn't get to see QUIET RIOT. Kevin RIP.
As to your mentions of me in Rudy's book, it is as written.
To your funny question, let me format it this way but in no particular order of importance as each is of equal importance were it to be so.....
1. Jimmy Page - Robert Plant - John Paul Jones - Me
2. Jeff Beck - Rod Stewart - Ron Wood - Me
3. Jimi Hendrix - Jaco Pastorius - Me
4. Eric Clapton - Jack Bruce - Keith Emerson - Me
5. Randy Rhoads - Paul Rodgers - Tony Franklin - Me
Hey, a guy can dream no matter how impossible, right?!
Frankie
frankie, i just suffered the passing fo my grandfather and it made me think about alot of things, people would come up to me and say do you remember this or that and some of the memories would make me think of all the good times we had, but one story stood out from them all, it was a time when i wasnt there, a time when my grandfather defended me for some things that others thought was wrong, atime when he probably shouldnt have stood up for me but he did because of the love he had for me. i wont go into the story now but i will tell you one that i witnessed myself some years ago. i was driving down the road when i saw this guy in a cowboy hat walking and he didnt look like he fit in this podunk town, i asked him if he wanted a ride and low and behold it was kevin, you see quiet riot(kevin ,carlos and two others that i cant remember) was playin in our town that night. he got in and we rode for awhile , he asked me about myself and the town, just making conversation. i droped him of and he said he hoped to see me at he show. their was only a handfull of people there but kevin and the gang played their hearts out and when it was over he invited some of us back to hang out , heres the part i wanted to get at , some guy starts talking crap about you and rudy, kevin pulled him off to the said and gave this guy a few words of his own and had him removed from the building, and you could tell it really bothered him to hear those things. just thought you might want to hear this story, because i know the one i heard seemed to help with some of the pain. anyway good luck on the future and keep your head held high, shane
Hey Shane,
Great story! I'm glad you were able to experience the side of Kevin's personality that the press rarely if ever talked about. Kevin was a good friend to me and he loved singing and performing. There will never be another personality quite like him and I miss him. May he rest in peace and in the light of God.
Sincerely,
Frankie
Frankie, let me start by saying I am so sorry.I have been a loyal fan ever since buying Metal Health, and I was completely shocked to find out today that Kevin had passed away.I,almost on a weekly schedule, sit down with friends talking about most remembered concerts, and mine was here in Jacksonville,FL.,where I was in the front row.During the encore song,'Metal Health",Kevin leaned down to me and sang the chorus with me into the mic.Although we are nothing big,it was the defining moment in my life which led me to form a band.Thank you so much for all the years of loyal service to your fans.....
Hello and thank you for your kinds words and for sharing your story. QUIET RIOT certainly made a huge impact as did Kevin with his presence which is missed and although now gone for our lives, never will I forget him. Keep Kevin's memory alive.
Best,
Frankie

Sincerely,
Frankie
The first concert I ever saw was Quiet Riot in Panama at the Atlapa convention center - I last caught you in Austin with Skid Row - bascially you made me a metal head for life and for that I can't thank you enough. The loss of Kevin is beyond words, but anything you decide will have the full support of your fans - we just thank you for all the good times and look forward to the future
Hi!
I remember the Panama Atlapa Convention Center show well and those were crazy times! I also remember the Austin show which was that outdoor event by the river and really hot and humid but great fun.
Kevin is missed beyond any words that I can write and may God rest him in peace. Thank you for keeping Kevin in your thoughts.
Thank you so very much for your encouragement and words of support which I truly appreciate.
Sincerely,
Frankie Banali
Hey dude its dave branch the boat racer you guys played my gig on the 4th in Sarasota..anyway..just passing on my thoughts to you for your loss...im glad to have met him..all my best brother
db
Hey Dave,
Kevin really enjoyed your show as we all did and I still have that huge banner you made for the stage and that you let me have. I'm glad you got to meet Kevin and to see what a great person he was and I'm glad I met you and your crew as well. Wishing you all good things.
Best,
Frankie
Frankie,
I've been staring at a blank page unable to write all I want to say to you.
I didn't want to let too much time pass without telling you that you have been
in my thoughts and prayers this whole time. There's a lot of crumpled bits of paper
in the trash can where I've started and stopped many times. I feel like nothing I could
say would be good enough.
It's more heart felt than it is words.
In the past three months there have been a lot of tears. In between the tears
there have been lots of smiles and laughter thinking about all the many QR shows I've
been to over the years. You and Kevin were always very kind to me. Kevin was always a
great encouragement to me, especially after the car accident I was in a few years back.
He lifted my spirits when I needed it most. I will always remember that.
And I will always remember Kevin as a fun loving, kind and caring man.
God be with you Frankie. I hope to see you again.
Georgia
Georgia,
I know, I know. It's been nearly three months since Kevin's passing and it is still so unbelievable. I miss him and may God rest him in his peace. Thank you always for being such a good friend to me and Kevin and to QUIET RIOT.
God bless,
Frankie
Hi, Frankie
My name is Hugo, and I'm writing from Argentina.I just
have a question to make to you: every time a hear
Quiet Riot in my car or my house, I wounder how was
Kevin's relation whit Rudy Sarzo? In 1994, Rudy came
to my country, and he said that Kevin was like a tree
that didn't alow to se the forest. That was the reason
because he decided to leave the band.I hope you could
give me a answer. May Kevin rest in peace for ever
Hugo,
Thank you for writing from Argentine, muchas gracias!
I will not comment on this other than to say may Kevin rest in peace and may God bless him always.
Sincerely,
Frankie Banali
Frankie,
You're right, there is no Quiet Riot without Kevin. I have followed Quiet Riot for over 20 yrs. It just wouldn't be right without Kevin. I read on your web site that you wouldn't disrespect Kevin's Mom, I commend you for this. Although I wasn't as close to Kevin as you, I to feel like I lost a good friend. To put it more properly Kevin and yourself are Idols to me and tons of others. I do now that Kevin's Mom, You and all who love him will be with him again.
Take Care God Bless
ronb
Hey Ron,
Glad that you agree and understand. I know I've made the right decision and it's always good to know that those who cared about Kevin and QUIET RIOT understand.
Wishing you well and God bless,
Frankie
Hey Frankie,
Aaron here. How have you been? I'm not asking for an interview but I was reading you are going to be at a Quiet Riot tribute on February 26th with Brent Muscat's Sin City Sinners. I think that's pretty cool. I was just read the article on BlabberMouth that they had a show with Paul Shortino, Ron Keel, and Kelly Garni! Wow, Kelly got on the stage! LOL. I really got to go. I don't know whether or not their will be school because of the weather. Talk to you later.
Aaron
Aaron,
Hi. In all actually these shows are not a tribute to Kevin DuBrow. I think that people are using the excuse to call it so because Paul Shortino (who was the singer in the "Qr" version of QUIET RIOT) was singing that night and Kelly Garni who has not been a part of QUIET RIOT since 1978 happened to play a song. These are the only connections to QUIET RIOT.
The difference with that I will be going there to play about a half dozen songs none of which will be QUIET RIOT songs that Kevin sang by my choice. I will not play the songs that I recorded or played live with Kevin now that Kevin is gone. I did it for real with Kevin and QUIET RIOT since 1982, so there is no reason why I would do it now without Kevin singing these songs. People sometimes like to use any excuse to associate themselves with QUIET RIOT now that Kevin is gone. I don't have to.
Do well in school!
Frankie
Hi Frankie
I hope you are getting through this time, this has been hard for all of us, I am reminded of him everyday.
Ronnie & I were talking yesterday about how the Grammy's forgot Kevin during their tribute
to those who passed this year.. God we are so upset about that, what are your feelings about it?
Carrie Cummings
Hi Carrie,
I was really saddened by it. I watched the Grammy's and during the memoriam for entertainers that have passed in 2007 they excluded Kevin. They included a number of "who the hell was that?" and no disrespect to those people, but it really made me sad that Kevin was not included. I realize that the Grammy's is a industry insider popularity contest when they denied QUIET RIOT a nomination in 1983/84 for Metal Health and that's OK, but to not include Kevin in the memoriam tribute really was unfair and it broke my heart.
At the end of the day Kevin knew who loved him and supported him and who didn't so he's probably saying out loud "fuck the Grammy's!" and having a heavenly laugh.
Frankie
Hi Frankie,
So much has been said on this blog. Thought I would share a few “Quiet” memories.
Back in the day, I was a “radio personality” at a station (now defunct…love live FM rock radio…that is another story) in Cincinnati, 96 ROCK. I had the pleasure of meeting you and the members of Quiet Riot many times over the years at the station and other various radio events during my career. One thing that always struck me was Kevin’s decency. He always remembered my name, before the awkward introduction - “ not sure if you remember me, but…”. He always gave me a strong hug and a warm “hello”. I mentioned his “bear hug” once and he smiled and told me “only with the ladies”. His wit, his warmth, his talent – none of it can be matched EVER.
Sometimes in this business, it’s hard to separate the truth from the reality. I’ve met TOO MANY personalities in the music business who take a great headshot, tell a great story….but they weren’t the kind of people I could even stomach having a beer with…I’m sure you have met them too. With Kevin, I could have spent an entire day of meals and everything in-between.
Even as the years have gone by, I will be at family gatherings and people will ask me about my “rock years”. I am asked who the nicest guy in rock was that I met during my radio career….and I met a lot of them....but the answer always comes to me fast and furious – “Kevin Dubrow, without a doubt”. It shocks people most of the time, to be honest. The media has portrayed an “image” of him. He indulged that image at times…..but it wasn’t the Kevin I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know.
We met again backstage….time-warp forward to “Rock Never Stops” at Riverbend Music Center. It had been literally 10+ years since the last time I had seen or spoken to Kevin. And I swear to you….this is the truth….we made eye contact. He smiled, walked right up to me, and said “96 ROCK?”. I was shocked. “Yes”, I said. His smile got even wider, if that is possible. And he said to me “Kelly, right?” I was shocked. He gave me a great big bear hug….smiled slyly and said “only with the ladies”. That is the way that I remember Kevin – smart, warm, engaging, electric, down to earth, humble – most of all, charming.
Much love to you, all of Kevin’s friends and family….and the fans. If you were lucky enough to experience the height of 80’s rock as it unfolded, then you know it is etched in stone in your heart. It is the soundtrack to our youth. The music is there. Just press play.
Love,
Kelly
Cincinnati, Ohio
Hi Kelly,
Thank you for wanting to share some great Kevin experiences that you were able to have. Kevin was a great person and you put it best when you wrote "That is the way that I remember Kevin – smart, warm, engaging, electric, down to earth, humble – most of all, charming."
We were fortunate to have such a charismatic person touch our lives the way he did. May he rest in peace and may God Bless him always.
Sincerely,
Frankie
Frankie, this is a home-shot video of a live performance of "Old Habits" off of YouTube. The video is a little grainy, but the sound is good. I'm not sure where this was shot at though. Maybe you can recognize it. It's a great live version of the song.
Tom O'C
Chgo
Tom,
This was a fan filmed shot from our show in Ottumwa, Iowa on October 19, 2007. This song was by far Kevin's favorite song to sing. It is really difficult to see this now that he is gone. He was singing so well and looked great and so full of life. I miss him. May he rest in God's eternal peace.

Let's remember Kevin doing what he loved most, singing and performing.
Frankie
Frankie,
Met you guys in the mid 90;s at a show in Philly at John's Boardwalk. You guys were great, I remember after the band signed autographs my friend Mike didn't want to leave and kept trying to chat with Kevin and , kevin politely said what more do you want and my friend Mike said how about a beer. He got that beer, I was just glad to se Kevin didn't take it offensively. Media mercanaries portray Kevin as this sado-mastical demon, that was out of control and egotistical. Everyone who is successful in life has an ego or they wouldn't be as successful. It's a shame that his excesses killed Kevin (in the end), but those who cast those stones better be careful not to live in glass houses. The only other time I saw you guys was opening up for Black Sabbath on their Born Again tour in your hey-day. In closing Kevin Dubrow made the world a better place while he was in it; as did Quiet Riot as a whole ( and you have every right to be proud of it as I noticed you are). It takes a big man to know it is time to hang up that portion of your life and say --- it was fun and a great ride but as a respect to my freind and his family I am let the memories speak for themselves. GOd bless and success in your endeavors.
Sincerely,
Rick Brzyski (Philadelphia, PA) (Bang Your Head -- Metal Health will drive you mad).
Rick,
Thank you for taking there time to write and for your memories of Kevin and QUIET RIOT. Kevin was a great friend to me and those who took the time to know him found this out as well. May he rest in peace and may his memory long endure in the lives of all who knew him through the music of QUIET RIOT.
Sincerely,
Frankie
Where did the Gulf Shores, AL show on Oct 16, 2007 fit in as far as shows ?
Was it the last one? I have a nice bootleg of that show that I acquired. I
would be glad to send you a copy if you would like.
Donny
Donny,
That show was on October 13, 2008 not October 16 and it was not the last QUIET RIOT show.
Frankie
Frankie,
Tom O'C again (Chgo PD), how are you, my friend? I saw that the website was back up, so I thought it was safe to send you an e-mail as see how things are. First, let me express my deepest condolences to you, your family, Kev's family, and Chuck and Alex. When I heard the news, I felt like I lost a close, personal friend. I cannot imagine how you felt. I think I can speak for everyone in Quiet Riot Nation when I say all of the true QR fans were, not only mourning the loss of Kevin, but we were with you in spirit, mourning with you. I've been fortunate enough to meet/hang out with you guys every trip through Chicago the last 8 years or so, and Kevin was always friendly and courteous. The first time I met you guys (The Cubby Bear in Chicago across from Wrigley Field) was during your sound check. Kevin saw me in there and came up to me. I was a little starstuck, to say the least. I talked to him for what seemed like 20-30 minutes, just shooting it about the set list, record companies, the new album (Alive And Well)..all kinds of stuff. It was like I knew him for years and years. Kevin was like that every time you guys came to town. The reputation he may have earned in the 80's was nowhere to be seen. It's a shame that he left us so early. Who knows, maybe he's up there with Randy, Kenny and they got John Bonham to play drums. I also read on the website that you have no plans to try another QR lineup. I totally understand and agree with that. Nothing against Paul Shortino, but Kevin's voice IS Quiet Riot. He can't be replaced. I do hope that, at some point, there is another project for you, though. When that time comes, I'll be there to support you in that new endeavour (as long as you don't go on tour with Britney Spears or something like that!! lol). In the meantime, I'll be checking the website to see what's new. Take care, and hope to see you the next time you travel to Chicago. Take care.
Tom O'C
Hi Officer Tom!
So very nice to hear from you again and for taking the time to write of your recollections of Kevin who truly was a special person in my life. Thank you also for your continued support and I hope I get to Chicago sooner than later. Be well and be safe.
Best,
Frankie
For the past few months I have been wanting to write to you....but out of respect for you and everything you must have been going through these past few months I felt the need to give you your space. Having grown up with Quiet Riot you, Kevin, Carlos and Rudy have been such a big part of my life. I must have listened to your music 100000 times over the years and many songs still instill childhood memories to this very day. Now, as a grow 41yo adult, you and the band still have a major place in my life. Though you and I are not close friends by any means, we have met and communicated several times over the years. Over the past few years I have also had the privilege of introducing you to my both my oldest son as well as my wife (and once again, thank you so much for those drumstick for my son....he cherishes them). Having had QR such a big part of my life, in a strange way it felt like I was introducing them to an old friend when we met.
With that said, I just wanted to send condolences to you, Chuck and Alex as well as everyone who has been a part of QR over the years. Who knew that when we met after your show last July in Sarasota, Fla it would be the last time I would get to hear true QR sung as it should be sung. Who would have believed that a mere 4 months later, Kevin would been taken from all of us. He was SO full of life that night and performed as I had always remember him from years past. I have many pictures from that nite and I will always be thankful that I got to see you guys one last time. (I've included/attached a little something from that night that I thought you might enjoy). I could go on and on about how I feel about the band and Kevin's passing but its all been said many times over by all the people you and QR have touched over the years. In our brief meetings and correspondence I hope you have realized that my sincerity rings true when I tell you that you are now and will always be in mine and my families prayers and that hopefully one day....many years from now....we will all get to hear one last encore up in the sky. Until we meet again my friend....take care, be well and God bless.
Neil Lipton and family
Tampa, Florida
Neil,
Thanks so much for the kind words and for sharing the memories. Kevin was one of a kind and I cherish his friendship, the good and the bad and most of all the last three years that he and I shared as QUIET RIOT. May God rest him in his light.
My best to you and your family.
Frankie
What up Frankie? Mike Semerau here. Let me start off by saying it was great to see you and chat like always at NAMM.
I really appreciate the pics and signings of all my Frankie and QR stuff. And mister, why did I not know about the impromptu jam at the Kat club?
If you had your Ludwig’s there you obviously new about jamming that night? I would of LOVE to see that. Damn.
Next time, let me know so I can come and watch. How does the shirt fit? Look forward to your critique review of my drum clinic DVD from 2006.
Did you ever get a chance to check out my trick kit after Sabians signing? It was in the Trick drum booth next to Pro Mark sticks which was next to Sabian.
I did not want to say or mention my condolences to you about your dear friend Kevin. I am very grateful to have met him twice in my life, and till this day still
“ Bang my Head “ to his voice. Whenever I listen to Thunder Bird now, I get bummed. I think of Kevin, Randy, and my good friend Steve Schaefer who idolized Randy Roads. A very touching lyrical, meaningful, song. We all can relate it to a loved one, or memory. This is so hard for you, for that I am sorry. I love you Frankie, always did, always will. You and your drumming inspired me, and helped me learn to get me to where I am today. I thank you. Remember, you are one of the rock drummers that help make NAMM possible for me. If not for your hard hitting talent, I would of not practice the crap out to QR and Wasp albums to make me good enough to land my own drum endorsements that got me to NAMM. I LOVE YOU FRANKIE BANALI !!!!
Your mini me, ( lol )
Mike Semerau
Bolingbrook, IL’
Mike,
Always nice to hear from you and yes the T-Shirt fits, thanks again. You are way too kind with the compliments to me. Thanks for keeping Kevin in your thoughts which I also appreciate. I really didn't publicize the jam at the Kat Club so my apologies for not mentioning it and I'm also sorry for not having the time to see your kit at NAMM.
Wishing you all greatness,
Frankie
